Location is convenient, close to attractions like the zoo and malls. Parking is pricey at $30 per day. Nice fitness center and there’s a happy hour at the bar. Room cleanliness needs improvement; we found some trash left from previous guests.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Parking fee is a bit steep at $27 per night. Loved the bike rental option, easy for exploring.

I enjoyed my stay because it was just a short walk to many attractions in San Diego, like the USS Midway Museum about 5 km away and the vibrant Gaslamp District which is only a little over 3 km away; for those looking for a casual stroll, the beautiful Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, which is around 3 km away, offers a glimpse into the city’s rich history and a delightful park atmosphere. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, making my weekends enjoyable overall but there were some outdated amenities that need attention.

The vibrant environment made my stay unforgettable! The swimming pool was perfect for chilling out, and the jacuzzi was a dream after a long day. The staff were so friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
Would recommend! ❤️😊

The room at Courtyard By Marriott Mission Valley was impressive—spacious with a cozy bed and couch. The friendly reception staff, especially Emily, made our check-in seamless. Plus, the hotel's prime location near attractions added to our enjoyable experience, despite a few minor inconveniences.

Clean and safe with a prime location. Just ten minutes from Gaslamp, it’s convenient. The Starbucks in the lobby is a nice touch, and the hot water in the bathroom was a relief. Access with key cards enhances security, though that didn't make up for some disappointments. Checking in was a hassle, with a lack of communication and no apology from staff when my room wasn't ready. Dining options left much to be desired, and cleanliness in common areas was overlooked. Parking needs better security; Suggested improvements include inclusivity for breakfast and room upgrades. Professional staff, yes, but execution must improve.

Room was comfy and clean 💯. Staff helped us with everything - even extra towels for the kids.
It wasn't cheap, but for what you get, it's reasonable.

Clean rooms, great pool and bar. Breakfast was disappointing, and staff could improve.

The location was perfect, with easy freeway access and a clean, spacious room that had everything needed. The staff, especially Rachel, Nicole, and Maria, were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a delight—loved the Breakfast Bowl and the lobby's Starbucks coffee machine. the ADA room we received had a few issues; the shower was lacking hot water, and the bathroom was impractical with no counter space. Paying for parking and the breakfast limitations felt a bit misleading. a great experience mingled with a few frustrating details.

The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. The location is spot on, close to everything, and the little bar downstairs provides a nice unwind after a long day.
The $30 daily parking fee is seriously pushing it.

Convenient location, convenient services with the hotel being just a short walk from the convention center and offering efficient housekeeping during my stay.
Nothing to mention.

Commendable fit for a quick stopover in San Diego with value for money. Excellent customer service from every staff we encountered.

The room was clean and bittersweetly comfortable. the bed itself felt a bit uncomfortable, though the pillows were nice. Temperature control was decent, allowing for a restful atmosphere. I did notice some dust and the upholstery on the couch and ottoman needed attention. The bathroom required cleaning; toothpaste residue greeted me. The shower leaked significantly, and there appeared to be mold in the corner. Charging outlets near the bed didn’t function. A dirty face towel was left on the desk, a small oversight that left a lingering impression.

We hit the nearby golf course like pros, then chilled at the cool terrace. The coffee shop vibe was perfect for us to plan our next adventure—so clutch!
Wish they had a rocking rooftop bar for us to party the night away with other young peeps! .

The coffee shop was a delightful spot for a morning pick-me-up before our kayaking adventure. It was a fantastic place for family fun under the sun!
My kids wished for a kids club for more entertainment.

The property was well, maintained, and our room was clean and cozy. the location was convenient, with easy access to the freeway and plenty of open parking spaces.
There were a few issues with the room, such as broken bathroom amenities and a less, than, ideal fridge temperature. Parking came at an additional cost, and there was no complimentary breakfast.

The front desk barely explained anything, leaving me confused about breakfast. Plus, the room was filthy with hair in the bathroom, and the AC sounded like a jet engine—definitely not what I expected!

the heating in the room seemed a bit inconsistent, leaving us adjusting the thermostat frequently to find a comfortable temperature. The air conditioning unit also made some noise at times, which could be a bit disruptive. One thing we appreciated was the tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was nice to have a warm beverage on hand in the mornings before heading out. The sitting area was cozy and provided a nice space to unwind after a long day of exploring. Unfortunately, we did notice that the trouser press was missing from the room, which would have been convenient for keeping our clothes wrinkle-free. the lack of garden furniture on the property was a missed opportunity for enjoying some fresh air outdoors. The free toiletries provided in the bathroom were a nice touch, and we were grateful for the electric kettle to make hot drinks whenever we wanted. The am/fm alarm clock helped us stay on schedule for our activities, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during downtime. While the carpeted floor added a sense of comfort to the room, we did notice that it could use a deep cleaning in some areas. The availability of dry cleaning and housekeeping services was convenient for keeping things tidy during our stay. We also took advantage of the on-site shops and laundry services, which were helpful for any last-minute needs. While we didn't experience a welcome drink or happy hour during our stay, we heard positive feedback from other guests who enjoyed those amenities. our stay at the Courtyard had its ups and downs, with some areas needing improvement in terms of room amenities and cleanliness. the convenient location and helpful staff made our visit enjoyable overall.

I chose Courtyard for its location near the places I wanted to visit, but the private on-site parking was a pleasant surprise after a busy day in San Diego.
No Apple Pay, $27 for parking, uncomfortable sleep, and overpriced, disappointing breakfast. We won't stay here again.

Great location with easy access to freeways and shopping centers. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest.
The hotel felt a bit worn, especially the floors, which looked dingy. The noise from slamming doors and thin walls made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Enjoyed the fancy hotel vibe; felt posh sipping Starbucks coffee at the chic Bistro. Got my workout in at the modern fitness center. Great time relaxing at the hot tub after a busy day.
Paid for parking; should've just parked at the zoo for free!

we always have great stays at courtyard properties. need more mirrors in the rooms. this way one doesn't monopolize the bathroom for lengthy time. i liked that it was close to the hotel where the event i attended was and close to the mall. very close to everything in the area made everything easy to get to.
Nothing it was perfect 🙂
